But Is he In Heaven?

There was a wasp flying around the kitchen tonight while we were eating supper. Daddy got up and trapped it in a napkin and then announced to us all that we were safe again. He had killed the wasp and the wasp was dead.

Timothy asked, "But is he in Heaven? You said that our bodies stay here, but we go to Heaven. Is the wasp in Heaven now?"

And how would YOU answer your four year old's serious question?

Did he believe in Jesus?

Guess what! We're not wasps! We're created in His image. Wasps aren't.
Loved the story, and Rog's comment.

I'd say that he was in God's hands. All of creation is in His hands and at His mercy and grace and love. That is all that Anyone needs to know.
And since Jesus became man, I'm sure He had more than a working relationship with all kinds of insects, even wasps.

So, what did you answer? I'm curious now. Lilly

I'd probably say that wasps don't have a brain like us, which means they can't think like we do, to love God and His promises to go to heaven.
Yes, what did you answer?

Great comments! Rog, you made me laugh! :) I just told him that OUR bodies stay here when we go to Heaven, not bugs. Stephen told him that bugs aren't good and Heaven is only full of good things.
